Wall Street Journal bestselling author and entrepreneur Patrick Girondi will attend the Oxford Exchange Book Fair in Tampa on 23rd April, 2026, from 6:00–9:00 PM, signing all five of his books.
Born in Chicago and now living in Italy, his company’s headquarters are in Tampa.
The event precedes the May 1–7 Los Angeles premiere of Resurrection, a film he wrote and appears in as himself, directed by Brian Connors and starring Joe Mantegna. It occurs before the ASGCT Meeting in Boston, where his Tampa-based company, San Rocco Therapeutics, will showcase gene therapy research.
He began as a Chicago commodities trader, with his rags-to-riches story featured on Oprah.
He later expanded into music, literature, film, and biotech.
At Oxford Exchange, he will present his collection of five books.
- Flight of the Rondone (2022) a memoir of resilience, music, and a father’s fight to save his son
- New City (2023) reinvention and division on Chicago’s South Side
- Faded Genes (2023): A journey of survival, self-discovery, and understanding family.
- Blind Faith (2023) goes beyond a typical courtroom drama, exploring the complex intersection of faith, wealth, and truth—a long-avoided topic that pits money against God.
- Chivalry (2024), a cinematic study of honour, loyalty, and moral ambiguity
All five titles are available as cinematic audiobooks. “Flight of the Rondone” was recorded in Chicago, while “New City,” “Faded Genes,” “Blind Faith,” and “Chivalry” were produced at Suite Tea Studio in New York.
These features include Patrick Girondi narrating, Douglas Widick writing the screenplay, and the male voices, with Megan Euker voicing female characters in a multi-voice format.
Patrick Girondi, founder of San Rocco Therapeutics (SRT), works in rare disease gene therapy, music, and film, with a presence in Italy and the US.
SRT is entering clinical trials to develop cures for Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassemia.
