and some long—from deeply disappointing to tragic. In Broken Chapters,
each chapter’s author writes about the way they each personally experienced
difficult situations and how they saw God show up in the midst of their
pain. God is still in the business of restoring joy, restoring fortunes,
restoring identity, and healing broken places today. Nothing is too
difficult for Him.
He does care about you; He does care about what you’ve gone through. He
does care about you finding hope, finding peace, finding resolution, finding
healing, and most of all, finding Him. His eternal pen still writes and
rewrites today, bringing beauty for ashes and working out all types of
circumstances for good for those who love Him and are called to live
according to His plans and purposes.
Now, it’s time for you to be infused with faith and hope for your Broken
Chapters to be rewritten.
In the fall of 2022, I had the God idea to gather stories from others; stories about the Broken Chapters of life. We all have a broken chapter or two—some short in duration and some long, from deeply disappointing to tragic. So, I put out the call to my author community and sphere of Kingdom friends. Twenty others answered the call, and this book was born.
In each chapter, the author writes about their real-life experiences and how they saw God show up in the midst of their pain. God is still in the business of restoring joy, restoring fortunes, restoring identity, and healing our broken places today. Nothing is too difficult for Him.
I want to express my gratitude to each person who was willing to share their story here. When other people share their stories of what God has done for them, we get a boost of faith. A spark is lit within us that says if God can do it for them, He can do it for me too.
This is our hope and prayer for you, reader. We hope you say, “Wow, look what God has done!” And in some cases hearing or reading others’ stories causes us to realize His great ability and care for the first time. Look what God can do! He does care about you. He does care about what you’ve gone through. He does care about you finding hope, finding peace, finding resolution, finding healing, and most of all, finding Him.
