Basim Zachary Warra is a medical student who just completed his undergraduate studies in human biology at Michigan State University. He is a co-founder of Me Over UV, which is a non-profit organization with a mission to further educate individuals on the seriousness of skin cancer. He has made it his obligation to advocate for sun safety, especially among younger generations. Basim wrote this children’s book to foster early thinking and spark conversation regarding the seriousness of your skin from a young age.
