My Review
I really wish I could give this book more than 5 stars as from start to finish, I found Poker & Promise to be a page-turner, it kept me reading throughout. I loved Betsy and Thad as their relationship grew. Each character in this book is strong, most of which are loveable, and those that are the bad guys in this story, get you not really not liking them.
Poker & Promise is so well-written, I really didn’t want it to end. But when it did end, I had a lump in my throat, but in a good way.
I really do hope there is another book.
